We had a beautiful, wonderful Holiday Season – every moment is absolutely a treasure and the time with family and friends is the most wonderful gift one can ever be given. We hope that you had a beautiful time with family and friends celebrating the Holidays and bringing in 2014.
We have a few updates we would like to share with you:
1. Tim continues to feel great and he looks more handsome than ever. Thank you all for the continued prayers and support as we truly believe this is what continues to help us press on in our positive, healthy way.
2. There was a spot on WROC TV News 8 last night. Actually, there were 2 spots, one at the start of the 5:30pm news and the other at the top of the hour, at 6pm. Here is the link to the first spot, I’m still working to find the second one which speaks more to Be uninTIMidated and what we’re doing. http://video-static.clipsyndicate.com/zStorage/syndicaster2/244/2014/01/01/22/48/52c49b0f3c41.mp4
3. Our Be uninTIMidated Casino Night Fundraiser is very quickly approaching. The event is Saturday, February 1st at the Knights of Columbus in Webster, NY. You can buy tickets for the event via our website at www.beunintimidated.org There is a limited time to purchase tickets, so get yours as soon as you can!
4. Lastly, an update on a few of our dear friends that we have asked for your support with over the last few months… Kerri, Nick, Doug and Keith. First off, with the heaviest of hearts I share with you that Kerri made her journey to heaven on Sunday, December 29th. An incredibly painful loss for us. We thank you for your prayers for Kerri and her family. With tears flowing down my face, I share with you that Nick appears to be toward the end of his journey and we believe will be called home soon. We ask for your prayers and support for pain free days for him and for strength and peace for his wife Alyssa, their daughter Austyn and the rest of their family and close friends. Our friend Doug is doing okay but continues to fight and fight and fight through discomfort, challenges and pain every day. Please send the same prayers to him, his wife Lindsey and their daughter, Harper. Lastly, our friend Keith, whom we had the pleasure of actually meeting last Spring while he and his wife, Therese, were in Rochester… Keith has had a terribly quick change in his life and with how he was feeling. They literally went from one day being on vacation, lying at the beach under the warm sun and enjoying plenty of food and drink, to within days, being in an emergency room resulting in big changes. Keith is home bound now and is living solely off TPN and needing very large doses of pain medication. Please pray for Keith and Therese, they are near and dear to our hearts.
We are looking forward to a happy and HEALTHY 2014. May all things beautiful be yours this year…
XOXO, Denise
